NSAH Support Specialist, Saturday/Sunday/Monday, 3:00 PM ET–11:00 PM ET
RAINN
• Provide consistent, high-quality support to those reaching out through the National Sexual Assault Hotline • Utilize crisis intervention best practices including safety planning, brainstorming, and listening skills • Complete regular training on serving NSAH users • Answer inbound crisis-intervention telephone calls and online chats • Provide timely, accurate support to NSAH users • Collaborate with fellow NSAH hotline staff and assist with quality assurance efforts • Facilitate and manage online group chat services/sessions • Attend required monthly NSAH all-staff meetings • Assist with NSAH-specific data collection by completing session assessments during each shift
Job Requirements
- Must be literate and fluent in English
- Spanish fluency may be required for certain roles and will be assessed when applicable
- Must be able to pass a typing test with at least 35 WPM score
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in social services, customer service, or another field involving direct client support or crisis intervention
- Must be comfortable using instant messaging platforms and handling phone-based communication
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during stressful situations
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace applications
- Must complete and pass a criminal background check administered by RAINN

Role Description At Blood Cancer United, employees take our mission seriously. This role is responsible for providing internal support of essential operational activities that drive success for fundraisers, donors, and internal business partners to ensure region staff can effectively and efficiently raise funds to support Blood Cancer United's mission. - Support region teams with administrative workload drivers including unsubscribes, event set up, letter editing, registration processes, data collection processing, incentive fulfillment, Drupal updates, SVOY applications through bloodcancerunited.org domain. - Support region teams with offline fund management, including processing region revenue timely and accurately from territory and national lockboxes, wires, and donor advised funds according to defined processes and procedures. - Research unclaimed donations to determine correct allocation. - Review wire and DAF reports for unclaimed wires, working with region staff to determine correct allocation. - Process journal entries and fund transfers timely and accurately following Blood Cancer United policies and procedures. - Submit cash receipts templates to National Office to allocate revenue appropriately. - Maintain a clear understanding of processes, technological changes, and quality expectations. - Collaborate with peers to ensure lockbox coverage during staff absences and vacancies. - Manage tickets and inbound customer needs through ticketing software within agreed upon SLA. - Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - 2+ years of experience in a directly relatable role. - Prior Blood Cancer United experience preferred. - Knowledge of Blood Cancer United mission, products, and services preferred. Role Description This role will be part of the Time Support team at Reapra, where we focus on supporting the founders in Reapra’s portfolio through the way they use their time as a resource. Main activities are highlighted in the ‘Activities’ section below. You will be working with a team that is primarily based in the GMT+8/+9 time zone and will need to communicate with them during those working hours. The role can also be either full-time or part-time and can be conducted either hybrid or remotely. The team environment is mainly English-speaking. Some of our founders are predominantly Japanese-speaking, so it will be beneficial if you are able to communicate in Japanese. Activities - Supporting the creation of marketing materials and website content - Supporting data collection activities that we conduct to understand how founders use time in relation to their research and practice activities - Synthesising and analysing data collected from communicating with founders - Communicating with potential customers via in-person and/or online means - Market research for potential customers in different APAC markets - Translating between English and Japanese (stretch criterion) Qualifications - Reflective mindset with a desire for personal growth - Comfortable communicating in spoken and written English at a professional level - Ideally comfortable communicating in Japanese - Strong interest in how resource management connects to entrepreneurship and societal impact - Interest in the future of entrepreneurship and its connection to the next generation Requirements - Willingness to work with team members from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds - Open to exploring new ideas with a beginner's perspective
