• Conduct routine job site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and best practices • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and educational programs for employees and project teams • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements • Evaluate job site activities, equipment, and work practices to promote a safe working environment • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reinforce safe work practices • Prepare safety reports, inspection findings, and compliance documentation for leadership • Support emergency preparedness planning and incident response activities • Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices required
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments required
- Experience developing and delivering safety training programs beneficial
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Understanding of emergency response procedures and workplace safety standards beneficial
