Business Development Manager

• Grow business within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions in the NGS bioinformatics market. • Understand current and future needs to maximize value from the existing client base. • Establish and maintain successful client relationships to ensure product adoption. • Develop and execute a follow-up communication strategy to maintain client engagement. • Use the VarSome.com community to generate new leads for VarSome Premium, VarSome Clinical, and VarSome API. • Evaluate competitors’ sales strategies and provide feedback to product teams. • Collaborate with the Product team to translate market needs into product requirements. • Partner with marketing and commercial teams to refine brand positioning and communication strategies.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in a quota-carrying Sales or Business Development role in NGS, Bioinformatics, or Health-Tech sectors.
  • An BSc. in Life Sciences, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or a Business degree with a strong background in Biotechnology.
  • Experience in clinical genomics with strong knowledge of NGS workflows.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and professional networking tools.
  • Deep understanding of the MEA clinical and research landscape, including local procurement processes and regulatory trends.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, fluency in French is a plus.
