• Work with prospective medical school candidates and pre-med students, helping them identify opportunities to build their profile and draft compelling medical school application materials • Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic and tactical guidance on medical school selection, essays, resumes, letters of recommendation, interviews, and the overall medical school admissions process • Identify optimal medical programs and medical schools for individual students; provide feedback and guidance to students regarding their research on university programs and relevant admissions resources, ensuring alignment with the student’s background and career goals • Support students with project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking through internal organizational tools • Stay up to date on the medical school admissions landscape, including program requirements and admissions criteria, to advise prospective and existing clients on appropriate school selection and the nuances of applying to medical school
Job Requirements
- Currently in your residency program (MD or DO)
- Graduated from a U.S. medical school
- Previous experience on a medical school admissions committee, including reviewing applications and participating in acceptance and rejection decisions
- A passion for mentorship and coaching pre-med students
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly for medical school essays and personal statements
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Expertise in project management and applicant tracking
- Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or mentoring students

If you’re passionate about mentoring and guiding future physicians through medical school applications, this could be the perfect fit. In this role, you’ll work closely with students to: - Build medical school application strategies - Refine their personal statements - Prepare for medical school interviews - Support them in choosing the right medical schools and programs You’ll be a trusted coach throughout the med school admissions process, helping students present their strongest selves and gain admission to their top-choice medical schools. • Review and assess individual case safety reports, including medical accuracy checks, narrative review, coding verification, assessment and provision of medical causality comments. • Support signal detection activities through regular review of aggregate data. • Provide medical input into periodic safety reports such as DSURs and PSURs. • Review and contribute to project‑specific Safety Plans and other pharmacovigilance (PV) documents. • Provide medical consultancy for pre‑ and post‑marketing activities including study design, protocols, investigator brochures, core safety information and risk management plans. • Support medical monitoring across clinical studies, including review of study documents, training of project teams and contributions to regulatory and ethics submissions. • Attend investigator meetings and Data Monitoring Committee meetings when required. • Provide ongoing medical data review covering adverse events, laboratory results and physical examinations. • Offer guidance to investigators and study teams, including emergency unblinding for safety concerns when necessary. • Provide 24/7 medical contact as required and liaise directly with sponsor teams.
