Role Description itD is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and enhance enterprise ServiceNow applications that strengthen security awareness, remediation, reporting, and operational transparency. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ServiceNow application development, JavaScript, and systems integration, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, end-to-end solutions in complex enterprise environments. Location: Fully remote within the United States (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred). Duration: 24 months Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy complete enterprise applications using the ServiceNow platform. - Develop custom ServiceNow functionality and user interfaces when out-of-the-box capabilities do not meet business requirements. - Integrate ServiceNow applications with external systems using REST-based APIs and data integrations. - Create and maintain automated test suites while troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance. - Design scalable application architectures and implement secure, scoped ServiceNow applications that protect application and data boundaries. - Import, transform, and manage data from multiple sources while integrating with database systems. - Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate application development, testing, debugging, and overall delivery. Internal Responsibilities - Attend regular internal practice community meetings. - Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership. - Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material). - Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice. - Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual). - Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities. Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience developing applications with ServiceNow and JavaScript. - Experience designing, developing, and implementing complete ServiceNow applications. - Strong experience building complex user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Next.js, or similar. - Demonstrated experience implementing REST-based APIs to and from ServiceNow applications. - Extensive experience with Glide, AJAX, and Jelly scripting. - Experience creating and securing scoped applications within ServiceNow. - Experience integrating ServiceNow with database systems. - Demonstrated proficiency using AI development tools to accelerate ServiceNow development, testing, and debugging. - Experience independently managing the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation. - Native English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Must be based in a U.S.-friendly time zone. Preferred Qualifications and Skills - Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Experience with recent ServiceNow platform releases. - Experience with PostgreSQL or other structured database systems. - Experience with AngularJS, Angular, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and version control tools, including Git. - Experience with systems architecture and application design.
