• Product Design across the full Jeeves platform, from mobile to desktop, with a focus on core flows • Own projects end to end: framing, exploring, shipping with engineering, and measuring outcomes • Elevate the craft and consistency of the core product experience — identify UX debt and drive a plan to pay it down • Promote the product vision through design exploration, documentation, and presentations to leadership • Use AI tools to test more directions faster without sacrificing craft • Apply payments and fintech domain expertise for real-world financial complexity including AI-powered product experiences • Use and extend Jeeves’s existing design system and standards • Identify gaps and inconsistencies across product surfaces and drive systematic fixes • Establish design principles and patterns for AI-driven features • Plan and run research including recruiting participants • Use AI to accelerate research synthesis and validate design decisions with customers • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and product marketers • Create and collaborate on the product vision with core product leadership • Influence design practices and operations within a distributed team • Participate in cross-functional interviews and help raise the design bar in hiring.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional product design experience, with senior-level scope on multiple high-impact projects you were directly responsible for
- Experience designing for fintech, payments, or financial services products
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership: problem framing, exploration, shipped outcomes — not just final screens
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward independently in ambiguous environments, without heavy direction
- Working fluency with AI tools in your design process — demonstrated by how you actually use them today for exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation (be ready to show this, not just name tools)
- Experience working within and improving design systems at scale
- Hands-on research experience, including recruiting your own participants and synthesizing findings into design decisions
- Track record of close collaboration with PM and Engineering through to shipped product
- Professional working proficiency in English.

Role Description The Senior Learning Experience Designer serves as the educational design strategist for the Center for Academic & Research Excellence (CARE), leading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative faculty learning experiences that support teaching excellence, scholarship, continuing professional development, and institutional strategic initiatives. • Develop overhead and underground transmission line designs ranging from 69kV through 500kV and higher. • Perform line routing evaluations, structure spotting, and transmission line layout development. • Prepare engineering and construction packages, including plan and profile drawings, staking sheets, framing drawings, and material lists. • Coordinate survey, LiDAR, geotechnical, environmental, and right-of-way data to support project development. • Utilize PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and related design software to develop transmission line deliverables. • Review engineering criteria, client standards, NESC requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements during design development. • Coordinate closely with civil, structural, substation, environmental, permitting, and project management teams. • Interface with clients, utilities, contractors, and technical stakeholders throughout project execution. • Support constructability reviews and provide technical support during construction and commissioning activities. • Identify design risks and propose practical engineering solutions to support project objectives. • Assist with preparation of task estimates, schedules, and proposal efforts. • Support field reviews, site visits, and walkdowns as required. • Maintain positive working relationships with peers, project teams, and clients.
