Role Description We are looking for a dynamic, highly organized, and proactive Technical Project Manager for Heartbeat AI to coordinate our operational flows and drive the day-to-day alignment across our 1K5° Energy Management System (EMS) teams. - Work directly with our Director of Engineering 1K5° EMS to ensure smooth and predictable execution. - Ensure cross-team dependencies are clear and timelines are mapped out accurately. - Bring teams together to solve operational bottlenecks, helping us scale Heartbeat AI fast and efficiently. - Set up and run a continuous operational sync across the 1K5° EMS domain. - Keep a close eye on technical and operational timelines, highlighting potential bottlenecks. - Maintain a clear view of project progress and communicate deadlines and delivery risks. - Link stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to streamline day-to-day operations. - Continuously find ways to improve tracking progress using automated reporting structures or dashboards. Qualifications - Completed a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in tech or engineering. - 2–3 years of professional experience in technical project management, IT project planning, consulting, or an operational role. - Understanding of how software engineering and product teams work together. - Highly organized and comfortable with modern agile project management tools (e.g., Linear, Notion). - Proactive, outcome-oriented hands-on mentality. - Excellent communicator and skilled moderator, balancing diplomacy with assertiveness. • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies. • Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. • Lead project kickoffs, regular status meetings, post-project reviews, and the swift execution of action items. • Track project progress and deliverables through established project management tools and reporting systems. • Partner with the President on strategic planning for our cloud growth initiatives and select on-premise innovation initiatives. • Track execution against strategic milestones, surfacing where performance is falling behind intent and driving corrective action. • Establish and manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting variances. • Ensure all project expenditures align with approved budgets and company financial policies. • Provide quarterly budget summaries and variance analyses to leadership. • Serve as the central point of contact for project related communication across departments. • Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership review. • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation and contingency plans. • Contribute to the refinement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.
