Job Description
Graphic Designer & Copywriter
Rockstar
Role Description Rockstar is recruiting for a consulting firm that delivers marketing and design solutions for a range of clients. They are a small, remote team seeking a versatile Graphic Designer and Copywriter to support multiple accounts. The client is looking for a Graphic Designer and Copywriter who is equally strong on both sides of the craft. You’ll design polished marketing collateral and help develop the copy that goes along with these assets. This hybrid role suits someone who can take a project from blank page to finished piece: concept, layout, and words. It’s a part-time/contract engagement supporting multiple client accounts. What You’ll Do - Design: Create brochures, one-pagers, flyers, sales sheets, and other print and digital collateral from concept through final files. - Copywriting: Write clear, persuasive copy for the collateral you design — headlines, body copy, and calls to action tuned to each client’s voice and audience. - Web copy: Write and edit website copy, including landing pages, service pages, and about pages, with attention to structure, readability, and SEO basics. - Brand consistency: Maintain visual and verbal consistency with each client’s brand guidelines across all deliverables. - Production: Prepare print-ready and web-ready files, and manage revisions through client feedback rounds. Qualifications - 3–5 years of combined graphic design and copywriting experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment. - A portfolio showing both design work (collateral, layouts) and writing samples — pieces where you did both are a big plus. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Canva. - Strong command of layout, typography, and hierarchy for both print and digital formats. - Versatile writing skills — able to shift tone across brands and formats, from a flyer headline to a full website page. - Knowledge of print production basics (bleeds, color modes, file prep) and web content best practices. - Excellent organization; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. Nice to Have - SEO copywriting experience. - Familiarity with website builders or CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow). Engagement Details - Part-time or contract; hours flexible based on client load. - Fully remote. - Compensation commensurate with experience.
