Responsibilities: Performs confidential administrative functions including but not limited to organizing confidential files, performing data entry and maintaining accurate records. Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process. Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services. Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories and other financial information. Review and update credit and loan files. Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy. Provides customer service to internal and external clients as needed. Build strong relationships with all levels of the company, departments, and consumers. Answers and respond to emails and requests in a timely, professional and efficient man- ner. Processes and responds to all incoming communications, including phone calls, email, correspondence, mail, memos, and faxes; responds independently when possible. Escalates issues to manager as necessary. Enter and upload all required information and documents in PCL. Make detailed notes in conversation log for underwriter to review. Compute payment schedules. Submit applications to Loan Officer for verification and recommendation. Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them. Work with customers to identify their financial goals and to find ways of reaching those goals. Contact all parties explaining status, estimated time frames, and what is needed to complete the loan process. Maintain regular contact throughout the loan process. Order appraisal. Make sure closing is scheduled and all parties are informed. In preparation for closing, get HUD as soon as possible. Work with closer, attorney and Loan Officer to get HUD correct. Communicate with customers on final figures. Maintain marketing and print materials for Loan Officer through databases and social media updates and SEO optimization. Look for event opportunities for the Loan Officer. Meet with Loan Officer weekly. Complete projected closings report to Loan Officer and manager. Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers’ needs. Other duties assigned by management. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
