• Administer and maintain agreed CRM platforms — including Salesforce configuration, user permissions, fields, page layouts, validation rules, automations and dashboards — delivering documented platform updates, release notes and governance recommendations to the contracting party at agreed milestones. • Monitor and maintain data quality across agreed systems, investigating discrepancies, supporting new data source onboarding and delivering structured findings and remediation recommendations grounded in the Consultant's own professional judgement. • Build and deliver operational reports, dashboards and KPI tracking frameworks, providing data analysis and performance insights to the contracting party at agreed reporting intervals. • Identify and assess opportunities to replace manual processes with scalable automation and AI-assisted solutions, delivering documented findings, evaluation outputs and implementation recommendations as standalone advisory outputs to the contracting party. • Support cross-functional data and CRM requirements by translating agreed business needs into documented platform solutions and process improvement proposals, delivered to the contracting party at agreed milestones.

Euromonitor International seeks a self-employed researcher to interview, analyse and report on multiple industries in Cameroon. This role will suit a self-starting individual, who is looking for the flexibility of working from home. You will enjoy the challenge of reporting on consumer markets for a leading player in strategy research, globally. Industry researchers are employed on an annual contract basis and work with commissioners based in our London office. Our research addresses the following type of questions to deliver insightful business intelligence: - How much chocolate was sold in Cameroon in 2018? Why did sales increase/decline over the previous year? - What companies are the leading players in the pet care market? What share of sales is held by the leading brands? - Why is company X doing better than company Y? What strategy is being employed and how is this supported operationally? 70% of your time will be dedicated to conducting secondary research and updating the database for several industries including packaged foods and pet foods. The remaining will focus on primary research (interviews with industry opinion leaders). You will be working with very granular databases and while advanced data skills are not required, you must enjoy estimating data from quantitative and qualitative insights. On primary research, success relies on researchers’ proactivity to recruit and secure interviews with the right contacts, and their ability to uncover key data and insights via open discussions. Researchers are also responsible for building and maintaining a digital library of secondary research by accessing and analysing local/professional trade press, company annual reports, national statistics, broker reports, etc. Qualifications - High level of numeracy. Ability to work with, analyse, and interpret data. - Strong interest in market research and tenacity in the pursuit of information. - An innate curiosity to stay up to date with the evolution of the food and nutrition industry, more specifically on packaged and fresh food retail sales, food packaging and pet food. Food and nutrition experience is an advantage. - Familiar with consumer trends in Cameroon. Local direct knowledge is key. - Strong communication skills and a willingness to find strong industry contacts. - Fluency in English (reporting) and the local language (research). - Previous experience working on a short-term contract basis or in a freelance capacity. - Excellent time-management, organization and self-motivation skills. - Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). - Flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes in project scope, starting dates, etc. - Disposition to visit local stores to capture relevant product information and to discuss the industry with key staff. • Support client delivery across carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, research and wider operational activities. • Review and clean raw client data across utility, logistics, financial and operational sources, including electricity usage, vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, annual expense reports and more. • Consolidate data from various formats into structured Excel reports used in internal carbon modelling tools. • Reformat messy spreadsheets, copy and paste data from scanned or PDF documents, and ensure data is aligned by scope, location, date and emission source. • Spot and flag anomalies and inconsistencies such as mismatched dates, sudden usage spikes, duplicated entries or incorrect units. • Prepare bullet-style discrepancy reports or summaries to assist consultants in following up with clients. • Use advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, filters, conditional formatting and other data management techniques to improve data structure, readability and overall data quality. • Support carbon consultants by clarifying data-related issues and collaborating through Microsoft Teams, Slack and other internal communication tools. • Occasionally assist in assigning emission factors (where applicable) or flag missing information requiring client input. • Collaborate closely with the consulting and delivery team to ensure accurate, timely and high-quality outputs for clients. • Help reduce turnaround times for data preparation and contribute to high-quality reporting outcomes for external clients. • Contribute to continuous improvements in data preparation processes and operational efficiency.
