Senior Level Artist – AAA

Virtuos

• Building levels based on design (from greybox/blockout to final scene). • Placing and integrating assets (models, props, architecture, natural elements). • Maintaining gameplay readability – ensuring the player can easily navigate the scene. • Working with composition – visual accents, guiding the player’s view, logical routes. • Collaborating closely with level designers to combine visuals and gameplay. • Using modular systems for efficient environment assembly. • Testing levels for playability and stability. • Following the project’s art style and guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with 3D software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
  • Experience working in game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity).
  • Knowledge of composition, proportions, balance, and scene readability.
  • Skills in modeling, optimization, and UV unwrapping.
  • Understanding of material and texture creation (Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop).
  • Experience with modular kits and assets for building environments.
  • Understanding of real-time optimization (LOD, polygon budgets, texture atlases).
  • Understanding of stylization principles in game art.

  • Attention to detail, strong artistic sense, and style awareness.
  • Ability to collaborate with concept artists, tech artists, and level designers.
  • Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
