• Support employee onboarding and off-boarding activities. • Help manage employee and contractor onboarding and off-boarding logistics, including Slack invitations, Google Workspace setup, I-9 verification, policy acknowledgements, and document collection and employee file organization. • Help maintain employee and contractor records and ensure documentation is complete and organized. • Support the administration of employee benefit programs, maintaining accurate records of current plans. • Assist employees with routine benefits and payroll-related questions and direct complex issues to the appropriate resource. • Help maintain benefits documentation and support compliance-related activities. • Perform audits and administrative tasks related to employee benefits programs. • Maintain organized records of state registrations, account access, login credentials, and compliance documentation, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. • Assist with annual compliance initiatives, including anti-harassment training and required employee notices. • Proactively monitor, track, and follow up on Deel notifications, outstanding tasks, and compliance requirements, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely completion. • Follow up on outstanding tasks and help ensure deadlines are met. • Support recurring company programs and employee experience initiatives, including iOS Parties, employee meetings, and offsites. • Help maintain the annual People Operations calendar and track key deadlines, programs, and compliance activities. • Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, catering, logistics, and event execution. • Create and maintain forms, templates, workflows, and process documentation. • Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency. • Provide responsive, high-quality support to employees, managers, contractors, and external partners.
Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Benefits Administration, Recruiting Operations, Office Operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, benefits administration, compliance activities, or HR operations.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and administrative processes simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of employee benefits, payroll processes, employment documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with HR systems, Google Workspace, Slack, and project management tools.
- Comfortable learning new systems and troubleshooting routine employee and contractor questions.
- Proven ability to build documentation, organize information, and create repeatable processes.
- Customer-service mindset with a genuine desire to support employees and create a positive employee experience.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
