Job Description

Forward Deployed Engineer – Solutions Engineer

eFlexervices

• Pre-trial site investigation (Shopify / Salesforce Commerce Cloud) • Cache-safety design — what's safe to serve from cache without showing one shopper another's data • Launch QA and post-launch speed validation • Live diagnosis of performance and caching incidents; escalate genuine platform bugs to engineering with evidence • Technical customer calls, including delivering bad news plainly • Own the final "safe to serve" call on every configuration before it ships

Job Requirements

  • Must-Haves (all required)
  • HTTP caching depth — configured or debugged a CDN/edge (Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai, Varnish), not just used one
  • Performance measurement — Core Web Vitals / RUM; questions a metric before acting on it
  • Reads real frontend code — JS/DOM; Shopify Liquid or SFCC a plus
  • Live arithmetic — comfortable doing rough traffic/capacity math out loud
  • Investigation discipline — forms a theory first, checks simple explanations first
  • Launch ownership — owned a customer-facing launch or migration end to end
  • Customer judgment — delivers bad news plainly, without blaming and without folding
  • Roughly 5+ years, at least 2 customer-facing

  • Advanced English 4+ hours daily overlap with US Eastern business hours (live US customer calls — must-have, not preference)
  • Camera-on and screen-share for live sessions
