Role Description - Assisting attorneys in all phases of litigation and case management. - Creating case reports, summaries, and legal documents tailored to specific case documentation. - Preparing professional correspondence and basic legal motions. - Scheduling prehearing conferences, hearings, and settlement conferences. - Coordinating and scheduling independent medical examinations and appointments. - Organizing file materials and indexing voluminous medical records chronologically. - Managing the firm's docketing and calendaring systems to track critical litigation deadlines and events. - Communicating proactively with supervising attorneys regarding task statuses and case updates. Qualifications - Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. - Superb verbal and written communication skills, including flawless grammar and spelling. - Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask efficiently within a high-volume litigation environment. Requirements - Prior experience in workers' compensation defense is highly preferred. - Mastery of Microsoft Office (specifically Word) and Adobe Acrobat is required. - Experience with case management billing tools like Centerbase and NetDocs is beneficial but not required. - A Bachelor's degree or a Paralegal Certificate is preferred. Role Description The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting in various strategic projects and day-to-day activities to support the Legal commercial transactions and IP groups.
