Alongside hands on engineering, you'll mentor others and help lift standards across automation, quality and responsible AI use. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Sydney Warrane, Gadigal Country. What do I need? - Strong software engineering experience delivering business-critical applications and services using modern technologies (e.g. Java, .NET, cloud-native, microservices). - Proven ability to design scalable solutions, write high-quality code, and drive testing and code review best practices. - Solid understanding of secure-by-design principles, risk management, and delivery in regulated environments. - Hands-on experience with observability, incident management, and continuous service improvement. - Practical experience applying AI to software engineering and quality practices, including automation, analytics, and developer productivity. - Proven track record improving release quality and delivery through test automation, CI/CD, and engineering best practices. - Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across product, engineering, and risk teams.
