Für ein modernes Entwicklungsumfeld suchen wir für unseren Kunden eine umsetzungsstarke Persönlichkeit, die technische Herausforderungen pragmatisch angeht und gerne im Team arbeitet. - Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Backend-Services mit Java, Jakarta EE und MicroProfile - Umsetzung komplexer fachlicher Anforderungen in qualitativ hochwertigen, wartbaren Code - Mitarbeit in einem agilen Produktteam mit Fokus auf stabiler und zuverlässiger Delivery - Anwendung von Test Driven Development (TDD) sowie Nutzung moderner Testframeworks - Entwicklung und Betrieb von Anwendungen im DevOps-Umfeld (Docker, Kubernetes) - Mitarbeit bei Architektur- und Designentscheidungen unter Einsatz von Domain Driven Design und/oder hexagonaler Architektur - Dokumentation von Softwarearchitektur anhand von ARC42 - Reverse Engineering bestehender Systeme, um Anforderungen aus bestehendem Code abzuleiten - Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Fachbereich, Entwicklern und weiteren Teams Qualifications - Langjährige praktische Erfahrung als Backend-Entwickler (Java, Jakarta EE, Microprofile, SQL) - Praktische Erfahrung mit Git, Maven und IntelliJ - Fundierte Erfahrung im DevOps Umfeld (Docker und Kubernetes) - Erfahrung in der Entwicklung mit TDD - Kenntnisse in Domain Driven Design und/oder hexagonaler Architektur - Kenntnisse von ARC42 als Dokumentationstemplate - Kenntnisse von diversen Testframeworks und Testautomatisierung (z. B. Cucumber, jUnit, etc.) - Sicherer Umgang mit modernen AI-basierten Coding-Assistants (z.B. Role Description As a Sr Software Engineer || (Data), you spearhead new initiatives, design and build world-class platforms to measure and optimize ad performance. You ensure the industry-leading scalability and reliability of mission-critical systems that process billions of real-time transactions daily. You apply state-of-the-art technologies, frameworks, and strategies to address complex challenges with Big-Data processing and analytics. - Design and build big data processing platforms handling tens of billions of transactions/day that serve thousands of clients and support advanced data pipelines. - Mentor a great team of motivated engineers by regularly reviewing code, looking for design breaches, providing meaningful and relevant feedback to developers, and staying up-to-date with system changes. - Explore the technological landscape for new ways of producing, processing, and analyzing data to gain insights into both our users and our product features. - Design, develop, and test data-driven products, features, and APIs that scale. - Continuously improve the quality of deliverables and SDLC processes. - Operate production environments, investigate issues, assess their impact, and develop feasible solutions. - Understand business needs and work with product owners to establish priorities. - Bridge the gap between Business / Product requirements and technical details. - Work in multi-functional agile teams with end-to-end responsibility for product development and delivery. Qualifications - Lead by example - design, develop, and deliver quality solutions. - Love what you do and are passionate about crafting clean code and have a steady foundation. - 6+ years of programming experience in coding, object-oriented design, and/or functional programming. - Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, standards, and protocols, and have 2+ years of experience working in distributed systems like Airflow, DBT, Big Query, Spark, Pub Sub Eco System (Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or Kinesis), and building data pipelines at scale. - Excellent SQL query writing abilities, data understanding and using distributed Data Stores like BigQuery. - Hands-on experience building low latency, high-throughput APIs, and are comfortable using external APIs from platforms. - Care about agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation. - Genuine desire to automate decision making, processes, and workflows. - Experience with DevOps domain - working with build servers, docker, and containers clusters (Kubernetes). - Google BigQuery or Snowflake. - Experience in mentoring and growing a diverse team of talented data engineers. - B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field. - Excellent communication skills and a team player. - Cloud environment, Google Cloud Platform. - Container technologies - Docker / Kubernetes. - Ad serving technologies and standards.
