Role Description Meta is looking for a Temporary Web Developer to contribute to web development projects for both internal and external sites. This role involves building and maintaining Meta-branded web properties, delivering new features, and ensuring high standards of code quality and site performance. You will utilize AI tools to facilitate and speed up development processes. Please note that this is a temporary assignment, not a permanent staff position. Responsibilities - Maintain and improve WordPress site features using JavaScript and PHP. - Create and modify WordPress plugins and themes, including bug fixes and updates. - Partner with various stakeholders to turn requirements into robust technical solutions. - Enhance site responsiveness, optimize performance, and resolve technical issues. - Engage in code reviews and documentation while adhering to secure coding standards. - Implement an AI-first development workflow using modern toolsets. Qualifications - Proven track record of developing WordPress sites or applications with PHP and JavaScript. - Direct experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up. - Proficiency in HTML/CSS and knowledge of web best practices regarding accessibility and maintainability. - Familiarity with WordPress architecture, including hooks, PHP APIs, the block editor, and REST API. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage tasks independently in high-pressure environments. - Clear communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams. Liquid template edits, custom sections, product page and checkout enhancements across three brands. • Tracking implementation & QA. Adding and verifying GA4 events, GTM tags, and Meta/TikTok pixels — then proving they fire exactly once, at the right moment. • Component library maintenance. Extending the shared section library and keeping the build documentation current. • AI-assisted development. Using Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or similar to work faster — with the understanding to explain every line you ship. • Daily async communication. Written standups, early blocker escalation, and clear documentation across a time-zone boundary.

• Partner with Product and Design to define, build, and evolve user experiences using modern frontend technologies. • Own and evolve the frontend architecture to ensure scalability, performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. • Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, including SSR, routing, data fetching, and performance optimization. • Establish and uphold frontend engineering standards, including patterns, tooling, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices. • Drive cross-team technical initiatives, aligning frontend architecture with backend APIs, platform capabilities, and product strategy. • Proactively identify technical risks and opportunities, providing clear technical direction and tradeoff analysis. • Mentor and guide frontend engineers, raising the bar on code quality, architectural thinking, and delivery practices. • Design and implement robust unit, integration, and UI automation tests to ensure reliability and confidence at scale. • Define and monitor frontend metrics (performance, reliability, user behavior) to inform product and technical decisions.

• Work on the evolution of Itaú's Chat platform, developing the new Web experience in React and its integration with native applications (Android and iOS). • Migrate the current Angular solution to React. • Develop reusable components using React and Web Components. • Implement real-time communication via WebSocket. • Integrate Web and Mobile applications through WebView bridges. • Evolve the Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architecture, consuming backend-defined contracts for dynamic rendering of interfaces. • Advance the Design System and ensure its consistent application across Web and Mobile. • Support the strategy for sharing experiences across Web and Mobile channels.
