Licensed Health Insurance Sales Representative

Geisinger

• Cultivates new sales of Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO plans, and Medicare supplemental plans • Influences community-based organizations to build collaborative relationships to develop prospects and promote interest in products • Supports relationships with existing strategic partners • Assists with developing sales strategies to implement in designated region • Delivers sales presentations to Medicare eligible audiences in a group setting as well as in a home setting • Presents the managed care concept to employer groups and unions • Increases membership in the Medicare line of business • Initiates the development of sales and community activities by engaging key contacts • Markets Geisinger Gold within the community (provider offices, senior centers, high rises, etc.)

Job Requirements

  • Must already be licensed to sell Health Insurance
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Health Insurance/Managed Care (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years Sales experience (Required)
  • Accident and Health Insurance License within 60 days - Default Issuing Body
