Role Description We're hiring a Principal Product Designer to shape how people interact with one of the most consequential decisions in their lives: how to make their money and time last. Boldin's product turns sophisticated financial modeling into something anyone can use to plan their future. Your job is to take complex projections, tradeoffs, scenarios, and "what-if" decisions and design experiences that leave users feeling clearer and more confident. This role is for a systems thinker who treats simplicity as the output of hard work, not the starting point. You'll own end-to-end design for major surfaces of the product, partner closely with PMs, engineers, and financial experts, and set the bar for design craft and judgment across the product. You'll also help define how Boldin implements AI, both across our design process and within our product. You'll do well here if you're comfortable in ambiguity, opinionated about product decisions, and energized by problems where the right answer isn't obvious yet. Key Responsibilities - Own design end to end: Partner with product and engineering teams to identify and define key problems, explore solutions, and ship work that moves key metrics — from kickoff through launch and iteration. - Align using AI: Use Claude to interrogate ideas, surface risks and edge cases, and build the product plans that align your team on direction before design starts. - Translate complexity into clarity: Use data, testing, and research to turn complex features, models, and financial scenarios that are both informationally rich and easy to navigate. - Build to validate: Use Cursor and Claude Code to build prototypes and iterate on flows that validate ideas quickly — while pushing past generic AI output to keep interactions intuitive and the UI polished. - Figma as documentation: Translate validated concepts into Figma as the source-of-truth for full state coverage, system alignment, and dev readiness. - Balance simplicity & depth: Understand what less technical users and power users each need from the product, and make deliberate calls about where to optimize, where to layer, and where to diverge. - Raise the bar: Contribute patterns, prompts, and crits that elevate Boldin’s design craft and maturity. Qualifications - 7+ years of product design experience, with meaningful work on complex products — ideally in fintech, financial planning, analytics, healthcare, or other systems-heavy domains. - A portfolio that shows strong product thinking, interaction design, and craft, including 0→1 work that shipped to users. - Active use of AI in your design workflow — from ideation and exploration to designing and building functional prototypes. - Comfortable turning OKRs into product plans through research, exploring ideas, defining success metrics and adjusting based on results. Requirements - Must be able to work US office hours, with overlap across ET and PT.

Role Description We’re hiring a Front-End Web Engineer to own our next-generation marketing and content infrastructure. You’ll lead the transition from WordPress to a modern composable stack, define how our marketing site is built, deployed, cached, and kept online, and serve as the bridge between our marketing, design, and infrastructure teams. We’re building a fast, reliable, and scalable web platform that lets our marketing team ship independently while maintaining engineering quality. You’ll own that vision end-to-end. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain a component-driven marketing site using modern front-end frameworks and Islands Architecture principles. - Lead the WordPress migration: content modeling, redirect strategy, author enablement, and SEO preservation. - Own site performance end-to-end: Core Web Vitals, build optimization, edge caching, and hydration discipline. - Partner with infrastructure to design caching rules and static failover strategies so the site stays up even when dependencies don’t. - Translate Figma designs into reusable, governed components that non-engineers can safely compose and publish. - Operate the headless CMS layer and visual editing tools, ensuring clean boundaries between content, presentation, and application logic. - Own Google Tag Manager (including server-side containers) and Consent Management Platform implementation. - Partner with analytics on site health reporting, conversion metrics, and SEO workflows. Qualifications - 3+ years shipping production web applications with a front-end focus. - Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Not just framework usage, but what’s happening underneath. - Real-world performance debugging: reading waterfalls, tracing render-blocking resources, diagnosing layout shifts in production. - Proficiency in at least one modern component framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or similar) at a level where you could pick up a new one independently. - Production experience with at least one headless CMS. The platform matters less than understanding content modeling and API-driven delivery. - Hands-on technical SEO: structured data, crawl budget, redirect strategy. - Strong cross-functional communication. You’ll operate across marketing, design, infrastructure, and leadership daily. Requirements - Experience with Astro, Islands Architecture, or partial hydration patterns. - Experience with visual page builders (Builder.io, Webflow, or similar). - Experience leading a CMS migration while preserving SEO equity. - Familiarity with edge compute: Cloudflare Workers, CDN configuration. - Google Tag Manager (server-side), consent management platforms, GA4, or Google Search Console. - Component library or design system governance. Benefits - Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 DOE. - This position offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $160,000, depending upon experience and qualifications. - Salary may vary by location based on factors, including the cost of living. - We are committed to paying our employees fairly and providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
