Role Description Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position will design, develop, and maintain business applications and workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI while integrating enterprise data from SQL Server, SharePoint, and other Microsoft technologies. - Develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions that improve business processes. - Automate manual workflows and deliver actionable reporting for VA stakeholders. - Support enterprise modernization efforts while ensuring compliance with VA security requirements and Authority to Operate (ATO) standards. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (no substitutions accepted). - Minimum 4 years of experience developing enterprise solutions with Microsoft Power Platform. - Proven experience with: - Microsoft Power Apps - Microsoft Power Automate - Microsoft Power BI - Microsoft SQL Server - SharePoint integration - Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and enterprise solution development. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Requirements - Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or equivalent) preferred. - Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs or other Federal agencies preferred. - Experience with: - Authority to Operate (ATO) - Microsoft Dataverse - Azure Active Directory - Microsoft Graph API - Azure Logic Apps - Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies. Key Responsibilities - Power Platform Development: - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Apps. - Build automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate. - Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. - Create reusable components and solutions that improve business operations. - Data Integration: - Integrate Power Platform solutions with: - Microsoft SQL Server - SharePoint Online - Microsoft 365 - REST APIs - Design efficient data connections that ensure accuracy, performance, and security. - Business Process Automation: - Analyze existing business processes and identify automation opportunities. - Develop workflow solutions that improve operational efficiency. - Support digital transformation initiatives across the VA environment. - Reporting & Analytics: - Develop Power BI dashboards and executive reports. - Support data visualization and business intelligence initiatives. - Ensure reporting accuracy through validated SQL and SharePoint data sources. - Security & Compliance: - Develop solutions that align with VA security policies and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements. - Support application documentation, testing, and security reviews. - Assist with vulnerability remediation and application lifecycle management. - Collaboration: - Work closely with business analysts, software developers, database administrators, and project managers. - Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives. - Provide user support, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
