Job Description

Payroll Time Analyst

Labcorp

• Independently manage end-to-end Payroll Time processes for assigned pay groups within Workday • Analyze time data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement • Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports to support business leaders, audits, compliance requirements, and workforce analysis • Support complex employee and manager inquiries through detailed time data analysis and issue resolution • Develop and execute testing scenarios, including user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancements, and new feature releases • Process and validate retroactive time transactions while ensuring compliance with company policy and statutory requirements • Monitor payroll time controls, identify process risks and control gaps, and implement corrective actions • Partner with Payroll and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights, automation, AI tools, and reporting capabilities • Manage project deliverables from initiation through implementation, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness • Support Workday Time module administration and contribute to system optimization efforts

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in Payroll and/or Time-to-Pay
  • 2 or more years of experience in payroll time regulations for Germany
  • Fluency in both English and German
  • Strong knowledge of payroll time systems, preferably Workday Time
  • Intermediate Excel skills required; Power BI experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and time administration processes
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into business solutions
  • Proven ability to identify trends and proactively recommend process improvements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Staff Accountant I - Payroll Staff Accountant I – Payroll Location: Burlington, New Jersey Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually Position Overview This position is responsible for general ledger account analysis, journal entry preparation, accrual calculations and forecasting. Provide audit, research, reporting and analysis of the organization’s payroll. A Day In The Life - Perform monthly close, workpapers and analysis for financial accounting.
