• Establishes and directs efforts of project work-team and related resources as required to successfully plan, develop, test and implement projects. • Leads and manages the project implementation lifecycle to deliver multiple projects and initiatives. • Delivers effective, accurate, and consistent communication to project teams, management, external clients, and vendors. • Facilitates and leads project resources through the work breakdown process to define tasks, durations, effort, and dependencies. • Partners with technology leaders to understand interdependencies and lead time to identify project resources and develop a comprehensive schedule. • Drives and coordinates cross-functional project team members from multiple disciplines. • Maintains project documentation; ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. • Prepares and distributes project reports and communications; communicates with technology team, project sponsors, stakeholders, functional area managers and/or consultants regarding status of specific tasks. • Ensures various integration elements of assigned projects are properly coordinated including project plan development, project plan execution, and overall change control. • Develops highly technical, detailed project plan including all work required to successfully complete both internal and client facing projects. • Acts as the primary liaison and manages expectations of key sponsors and client executive staff related to timing, functionality and business objectives. • Troubleshoots project issues and escalates them to upper management if necessary. • Leads lesson learned exercises and participates in root cause analysis discussions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination experience and education is required.
- PMP certification preferred
- 7 years of project management experience required
- 5 years in a client facing role required
- 5 years in the financial services industry with card processing and payment solutions preferred.
- Large-scale conversion project leadership and card processing experience preferred.
- Client facing project leadership and card processing experience preferred.

Role Description Bring your energy to Aggreko as PMO Manager based in Houston, TX. You’ll lead the establishment and operational execution of the Project Management Office, ensuring consistent project delivery, process adherence, and resource optimization across major long-term power projects, including data center solutions. What you’ll do as PMO Manager: - Manage a team of Project Managers and technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful delivery of complex, large-scale projects, working closely with Engineering and Operations leads under the Head of Projects. - PMO governance: define, implement, and maintain the Project Management Office, standards, processes, and governance framework for all projects in scope, drawing upon global best practices (e.g., from LAM/AUSPAC PMOs for large, long-term projects). - Project oversight & delivery: directly oversee a portfolio of long-term microgrid projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Provide hands-on support and guidance to Project Managers in the execution of their projects, particularly for complex datacenter and gas generation initiatives. - Resource management: manage and allocate Project Management resources (including Project Managers and PM technicians) effectively across various projects, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill sets are in place to meet project demands. Work with the Head of Projects to identify and address resource gaps. - Process improvement & standardization: drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and templates. Ensure consistent application of BOM, Labor, and Procurement planning methodologies, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to optimize project delivery workflows. Qualifications - 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3-5 years in a PMO leadership or senior project management role within the power generation, microgrid, or long-term energy projects sector. - Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO) for complex, large-scale infrastructure projects. - Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and project delivery staff. - Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, ideally with exposure to datacenter projects. - Proficiency in project management software, tools, and methodologies (e.g., PMP or similar certification is a plus). - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
