• Conduct outbound calls to patients to complete patient intake calls • Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups • Handle medical records, data entry, and documentation in EHR systems • Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming member messages • Ensure all patient records are accurately entered into the EHR system and update them as needed • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality • Provide general administrative support to care team and patients • Manage patient tasks to ensure timely documentation and communication for all patients
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a medical assistant, virtual medical assistant, or administrative support role in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with GI conditions preferred
- Experience working in a remote setting
- Experience making out-bound calls to patients
- Strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, eCW, gGastro)
- Experience in message triaging, charting, or medical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms is a plus.
