Job Description

Finance Manager – DCR

DaVita Kidney Care

• Ownership of pro forma pricing models for hospital contracts, with an emphasis on driving continuous improvement to refine model accuracy and enhance user experience • Lead the financial modeling process for all national hospital system negotiations, and partner with the Sr. Director of Account Management on various initiatives to drive growth • Work closely with field leaders to review & approve local pricing proposals • Serve as the finance liaison to DaVita’s compliance department, overseeing compliance-related projects such as tracking the financial health of hospital accounts, driving enhancements to the internal contract review process, etc. • Prepare detailed analyses of Hospital Services financial results, variance to budget, tracking to forecast, etc. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis • Assist with the annual budgeting process, specifically around setting guidance, refining forecast models, and providing budgeting support to field leaders • Partner with Accounting & Revenue Operations to monitor delinquent balances, track & report on contractual KPIs, assist with monthly P&L adjustments, etc. • Support team’s reporting & analytics capabilities, with a particular emphasis on building out reporting efficiencies • Provide detailed analyses of key operational data to measure the ongoing performance of the Hospital Services business • Partner with Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations on strategy-related projects • Support field teammates with ad hoc questions and analyses • Opportunity to manage one or more teammates

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, quantitative disciplines preferred
  • 4+ years in finance, consulting, or relevant business analytics role
  • Extensive experience with financial modeling and familiarity working with large, complex Excel files
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to properly digest complicated data sets or business scenarios to provide creative & efficient solutions
  • Team-player able to work collaboratively within HSG Finance and alongside our stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills to share recommendations to team leaders and key stakeholders through verbal and written presentations
  • Experience with Oracle Essbase/SmartView, Anaplan, Microsoft SQL, and Tableau a plus
