• Build and manage the weekly forecast process: pipeline hygiene, stage definitions, deal inspection cadence, and CRM data integrity. Build metrics dashboards and reports that give GTM leadership a real-time view of pipeline health, win rates, productivity, and efficiency trends. • We have so much potential in both new business and within our PLG base. As the team begins to define the right sales motions, we want to scale them and vastly increase the output and impact of our sales reps. Directly, this will be building our integrated tooling with Clay, Salesforce, and other tools like our sales engagement tool. • We are a small team and there will be a lot to do! • Design, build, and operate highly available backend services that power Upstart's real-time lending marketplace. • Develop scalable systems that enable rapid experimentation while maintaining the reliability of business-critical production services. • Partner with Product, Machine Learning, Capital Markets, and Analytics to translate complex business problems into elegant technical solutions. • Build flexible platform capabilities that enable new marketplace optimization and monetization strategies. • Improve the scalability, observability, and operational excellence of systems responsible for real-time marketplace decisions. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and operational ownership of critical production systems.

• Apply AI-assisted development practices to rapidly prototype, validate, and ship production-ready solutions. • Identify opportunities across the business where software, automation, data, or AI can create meaningful operational, product, or revenue impact. • Own solutions end-to-end—from discovery and scoping through architecture, implementation, deployment, measurement, and ongoing iteration. • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand problems, define solutions, communicate trade-offs, and measure outcomes. • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, automations, and internal tools that drive business value. • Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and long-term platform evolution. • Work directly with cloud infrastructure and edge platforms, including AWS and Cloudflare. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence. • Conduct thoughtful code reviews, uphold high engineering standards, and mentor other engineers. • Continuously evaluate new technologies, AI capabilities, and development practices that can increase team effectiveness and engineering leverage.
