Senior Procurement Manager – Technology

Alight Solutions

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for software, cloud, and technology services • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, renewals, and cost optimization efforts • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contracts, SLAs, and licensing terms • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement solutions • Monitor and manage software licenses, usage, and renewals • Conduct market analysis to inform vendor selection and sourcing decisions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience with technology licensing models and software agreements
  • Understanding of cloud cost fundamentals (AWS and Azure), including commitments, savings plans, and reserved instances
  • Experience with data and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
  • Experience with procurement and contract tools (Workday, Zip, Ironclad preferred)
  • Familiarity with software lifecycles and vendor management best practices
  • Foundational knowledge of AI
