Role Description This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote. The role assists in the development and coordination of the corporate appraisal policy and appraisal review program for Fulton Financial Corporation, its subsidiaries, and bank affiliates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The position guides all levels of management and affiliate bank staff relative to the risk management of complex real estate collateral to ensure protection in the matters of real estate evaluations. - Performs an independent review of real estate appraisals of increased complexity for compliance with regulatory requirements and recommends action to achieve compliance for unacceptable appraisal reports. - Ensures that residential and commercial appraisals are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and within bank policy. - Proposes solutions to identified appraisal deficiencies. - Works with account officers, relationship managers, and senior credit officers on valuation issues and concerns. - Assists in guiding all levels of management and affiliate bank staff relative to the risk management of complex real estate collateral. - Reviews transaction information to understand the risk profile and determine the appropriate level of due diligence required to meet regulatory and policy standards. - Responds to inquiries from affiliate bank staff involving corporate appraisal policy and compliance with laws and regulations. - Reviews the qualifications and sample reports of appraisers seeking to be added to the corporate approved appraiser list. - Provides guidance to each affiliate management for the process of appraisal ordering to comply with laws and regulations governing appraisal requirements. - Develops tools for staff such as checklists and reference guides to comply with the appraisal program requirements. - Recommends training needs and participates in training sessions related to the appraisal policy and appraisal review program. - Establishes lines of communication with professional appraisal resources to allow for discussion regarding the appraisal review process. - Acts as mentor and provides training for other appraisal department staff. - Responsible for special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. Role Description The Annual Giving Officer is a dedicated frontline fundraiser responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of approximately 500 annual fund donors, primarily in the $750–$2,500 giving range. This role focuses exclusively on securing unrestricted gifts that sustain AbleLight’s daily operations and mission-driven programs throughout the year. The officer implements a structured, segmented engagement strategy to retain donors, drive upgrades, and uncover long-term philanthropic potential. Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Annual Giving Officer conducts regular donor meetings—both virtual and in person—with travel required throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. Responsibilities - Annual Fund Portfolio Management & Donor Strategy: 90% - Manage an active portfolio of approximately 500 annual fund donors and prospects with giving capacity in the $750–$2,500 range. - Implement a quarterly contact strategy (email, phone, and virtual/in-person meetings) to deliver consistent, personalized outreach. - Segment portfolio into two tracks: - Upgrade Track (50%) – Engage donors with capacity and interest in increased giving through discovery, targeted cultivation, and customized solicitation. - Retention Track (50%) – Prioritize stewardship, loyalty-building, and renewal strategies for continued annual support. - Conduct discovery outreach to identify donor motivations, philanthropic interests, and upgrade potential. - Design and deliver personalized cultivation and solicitation strategies, including donor-specific proposals, impact updates, and recognition. - Collaborate with the Sr. Dir of Advancement and Advancement Officers to identify high-potential donors for major gift transition for further cultivation. - Maintain accurate, timely records of all interactions and next steps in the CRM; contribute to segmentation improvements and long-term strategy development. - Stewardship and Donor Engagement: 10% - Deliver proactive stewardship across the portfolio, including impact communications, acknowledgments, and tailored recognition strategies. - Monitor giving patterns and donor behavior to inform engagement cadence and optimize retention results. - Support organization-wide donor stewardship initiatives in alignment with broader advancement goals.
