Job Requirements
- 10+ years of successful executive healthcare leadership experience, with at least 5 specifically in the managed care/value-based care industries serving Medicaid and dual eligible members.
- Multi-market oversight of remote careforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related industry, business administration or finance (Master’s degree preferred).
- Possess a deep understanding of healthcare financial management, budgeting, and cost containment.
- Demonstrated success improving revenue and unit economics while driving profitability and maintaining high levels of employee engagement in fast growing organizations.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of healthcare operations with emphasis on growth, forecasting, managed care and value-based care models.
- Exceptionally strong executive leadership profile with ability to effectively articulate vision and drive outcomes with a focus on collaboration and transparency and the ability to lead, develop, motivate and direct others to maximize efficiency and effectiveness while juggling competing priorities.
- Passion for operational excellence and enhancing operational workflows via technology solutions.

Role Description The Annual Giving Officer is a dedicated frontline fundraiser responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of approximately 500 annual fund donors, primarily in the $750–$2,500 giving range. This role focuses exclusively on securing unrestricted gifts that sustain AbleLight’s daily operations and mission-driven programs throughout the year. The officer implements a structured, segmented engagement strategy to retain donors, drive upgrades, and uncover long-term philanthropic potential. Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Annual Giving Officer conducts regular donor meetings—both virtual and in person—with travel required throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. The Policy Officer, in collaboration with the programs team, engages in statewide policy development, advocacy, coalition-building, campaigns, and capacity-building to secure durable outcomes consistent with organizational priorities. The position requires a seasoned professional to lead RLF’s government affairs, lobbying, and advocacy strategies in Sacramento and ensures RLF’s interests are effectively represented among policymakers, agency leaders, and advocates.
