Senior Technical Services Manager

CDM Smith

• Lead customer-driven and market-driven technical development projects, creating innovative solutions for the Paints & Coatings industry • Partner with commercial teams and strategic customers to identify growth opportunities, develop innovation strategies, and deliver value-creating solutions • Provide advanced technical support and expertise to customers, helping solve complex formulation and application challenges • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to support new product introductions and business growth initiatives • Develop and manage technical presentations, customer seminars, webinars, technical reports, and sales support materials • Drive technical excellence through strong project management, experimental design, and data-driven problem solving • Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders and industry leaders to strengthen Arxada’s market position • Promote safety excellence, intellectual property development, and mentorship of junior scientists and technical professionals

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  • 5–10 years of technical experience with a demonstrated track record of scientific excellence, innovative problem-solving, and delivery of business results
  • Strong expertise in paint formulation, coatings applications, and microbial control technologies
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into commercial opportunities and customer-focused solutions
  • Experience managing customer projects, technical programs, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience building customer relationships and delivering measurable business impact through technical solutions
