Software Engineer, AI Solutions Specialist

ProVeg International

• Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in software and artificial intelligence, and evaluate their potential use at ProVeg. • Ensure that all colleagues have a solid understanding of the capabilities, limitations, and risks of our software and AI applications. • Develop online courses, workshops, and wiki documentation to support knowledge sharing. • Enable individual teams to make the best use of our software (including AI features) for their specific use cases. • Advise leadership teams and the works council on opportunities and risks. • Maintain an overview of the software and AI solutions used across ProVeg and key projects. • Configure and administer several of our central software solutions, and provide practical support to colleagues in using them. • Use no-code and low-code platforms to implement workflow automations that help teams work more efficiently. • Identify the best AI and software solutions for a wide range of use cases and ensure smooth implementation and integration. • Help shape the ongoing development of our software and AI strategy, roadmap, and policies. • Work closely with our internal data protection coordinator to minimize risks and ensure compliance with a strong focus on IT security and data privacy.

Job Requirements

  • A completed degree (e.g., Master's in Computer Science, Information Management, Digital Media, or a related field), or an equivalent qualification through IT training or professional certification (e.g., IT specialist), plus at least four years of professional experience.
  • A strong affinity for software and the ability to quickly learn new software solutions.
  • A solid understanding of artificial intelligence and experience using various AI applications.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A structured, pragmatic approach to work.
  • A willingness to continuously learn and improve processes.
  • A genuine commitment to ProVeg's mission and values.
  • Experience with software training, documentation, or user support (nice to have).
  • Project management experience (nice to have).
  • Experience implementing process automations using no-code/low-code platforms such as Make (nice to have).
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot (nice to have).
  • Good written and spoken German (nice to have).
  • Basic knowledge of software development and integrations (REST APIs) (nice to have).
  • Basic understanding of IT security and data protection (nice to have).
