Dispensing Assistant
Pharmacy2U Ltd
• Support the dispensing of prescriptions within a busy, deadline-driven environment. • Ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately and within agreed service levels. • Assist the Clinical team with day-to-day dispensing activities. • Take ownership of prescription labelling and accuracy. • Follow all Pharmacy2U dispensing procedures and quality standards. • Work collaboratively with Customer Services, Purchasing, Operations and Pharmacists. • Meet individual and team productivity targets. • Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical and professional pharmacy standards. • Help create a positive, supportive and enjoyable team environment. • Always put patient safety and quality first.
Job Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant qualification (essential)
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a pharmacy or similarly regulated environment
- Experience working accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills, including intermediate Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to prioritise workload and work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- A genuine patient-first mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service
