Controller
Greenbox Capital
• Oversee and participate in day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. • Own the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support internal decision-making and leadership oversight. • Maintain and continuously strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures in alignment with GAAP. • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and lead audit preparation and follow-ups. • Ensure accounting practices remain compliant with applicable regulatory and financial reporting requirements. • Evaluate current accounting processes and systems to identify and implement improvements. • Drive automation and scalability to support a growing company environment. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Lending, Executive teams, Asset Servicing, HR, Legal, Finance Consultants, External Auditors, and the Leadership Team to ensure financial integrity and alignment. • Provide support and oversight to junior accounting team members and contribute to their development.
Job Requirements
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a similar capacity.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Experience working in banking, lending, or financial institutions preferred.
