• Responsible for timely, accurate, and efficient accounting close monthly • Maintain relationships with Operations management on site performance and other financial areas • Responsible for preparation of various financial activities including data gathering, planning, and reporting • Contribute to the annual budget process, the periodic forecast process, and other initiatives • Investigate and prepare monthly analyses of the plants’ financial results • Interact proactively with the Plant Managers to identify factors that would enhance the plant’s profitability • Evaluate and assist in the preparation of capital requests • Analyze spending versus plan and report out findings • Help develop and implement a robust cycle counting program • Report / analyze results of cycle counts prepared by operations personnel • Maintain and update cost elements and cost models • Generate profitability analysis reporting for sales management • Prepare financial analysis, plans, studies, and presentations as required for management • Ensure plant activities are compliant with company policies and US GAAP
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office -- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and NetSuite
