Array Behavioral Care

Role Description Array Behavioral Care is hiring an evening specialist, 100% virtual Psychiatrist to provide measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states. You will immerse yourself in the buzz of emergency departments, hospital medical floors or crisis stabilization units from the comfort of your own home. Array Emergency Psychiatrists collaborate with onsite professionals to determine a timely disposition and use evidence-based practices to provide care to vulnerable individuals experiencing mental health crises. What You’ll Do - Simultaneously serving multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care. - Receiving support throughout your shift by our 24/7 access center who triages cases and makes sure you have what you need to successfully treat each patient. - Directing and/or implementing psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribing medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. - Utilizing a collaborative care approach within your partner’s healthcare treatment team. Qualifications - Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist. - Unrestricted, independent licensure. - Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles. - Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups. - Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings. - Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care. - Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time. - Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software over several years of experience in telehealth. - You thrive in a supportive, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive environment. - You are interested in being a clinician in a thriving behavioral health care modality. - You are passionate about our mission to transform access to quality behavioral care through innovative applications of technology. Position Logistics - 100% remote position. - Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality. - You will likely be required to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses. We will support that process and cover the costs and/or reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses. Compensation and Benefits - The pay range for this role is $150 - $195 an hour. - This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law. - Regardless of hours worked per week, you are eligible to enroll in our 401k, corporate wellness programs and access to our Array’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). - Beginning at 24 hours per week you become eligible for CME credits and FlexTime, which can be used for any requested time off, including but not limited to vacation, holidays, personal and sick time. - Full benefits eligibility begins at 30 hours per week, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance for your family as well as employer paid life & long-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits include short-term disability, voluntary employee, spousal and child life insurance, accident, critical illness, hospital, or confinement insurance and flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) contributions. - Medical liability coverage.
