Job Description

Strategic Finance Associate

Loopio

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including but not limited to financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insights into financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Assist in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals. • Support in the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including gathering input from various departments, creating and updating financial models, and tracking performance against budget. • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to drive informed decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to Leadership, alongside the broader Strategic Finance team. • Prepare and present regular financial reports and presentations to management, shareholders, and other stakeholders. Develop and design new internal and external reporting packages and dashboards. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with relevant teams to implement efficiency measures without compromising key objectives. • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and provide recommendations for improvements. • Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA or Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a combination of Audit at a Big 4 firm, FP&A, or Accounting.
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently interact with an executive level audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop conclusions and explain key takeaways and recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Great time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Finance systems (Netsuite, Cube, etc.) considered an asset.
