• Manage and oversee special education caseloads in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. • Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings and annual reviews. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records. • Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families to support student success. • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned students and families. • Provide direct instruction and/or specially designed instruction as assigned. • Support the implementation of accommodations, modifications, and individualized educational programming. • Participate in virtual staff meetings, professional development, and team collaboration activities.

Job Requirements

  • Active South Dakota Special Education Teacher Certification (REQUIRED).
  • Certification must be active and in good standing prior to the start of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in special education case management and/or instruction preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations, IEP development, and special education compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with school teams.
  • Previous experience providing virtual instruction or services preferred.
  • Experience managing a large or diverse special education caseload.
