IT Implementation Engineer
AMSURG
• Work closely with Center Leadership and IT Leadership Team to evaluate, plan, execute and transition IT support to AMSURG Managed IT Services Team. • Perform a discovery of existing systems and workflows at the Center. • Create a transition plan with communication and perform transition of services. • Document the environment for IT Service Delivery to take over operational support. • Design a solution for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure. • Architect, build and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure strategy. • Monitor Azure Subscription to ensure the solution stays within budget guidelines. • Evaluate current IT equipment and recommend replacements as needed. • Understand and document existing networks, dependencies, and server infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
- Seven or more (7+) years of IT experience in an enterprise environment
- Project management experience
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Administration architecture and management experience
- Server management experience
- Hypervisor experience managing VMWare ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V server
- Network infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, systems, and application architecture
- Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.
- Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance.
