Analytics Engagement Manager I

Public Partnerships | PPL

• Support the execution of analytics initiatives under the guidance of senior analytics leaders. • Perform data analysis, reporting, and research to address defined business questions and operational challenges. • Assist in requirements gathering, project planning, and solution development for analytics engagements. • Manage assigned deliverables and timelines while proactively communicating risks, dependencies, and obstacles. • Contribute to the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support business decision-making. • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, datasets, and reporting solutions. • Utilize Python and related analytical tools to perform data manipulation, analysis, and automation activities. • Support data transformation, validation, and quality assurance processes. • Collaborate with managers, senior managers, and cross-functional business partners to understand analytical needs and deliver meaningful insights.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills with demonstrated ability to develop complex queries utilizing joins, common table expressions (CTEs), aggregations, and window functions.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, data manipulation, and automation.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within established deadlines.
