Job Description

API Product Manager

Accertify, Inc.

Role Description As an API Product Manager, you own how the world connects to Accertify: our APIs, our partner integrations, and the data validation providers that feed our decisioning. Integration speed directly affects revenue, data provider quality directly affects our models, and developer experience directly affects how our clients feel about working with us. You'll be accountable for all three. - Own the API product lifecycle. - Strategy, roadmap, design, delivery, and performance. You decide what we build and in what order, and you're accountable for improving integration speed and time-to-revenue. - Run the public API developer portal. - Keep documentation clear, current, and complete so clients can integrate quickly with minimal hand-holding from client services. - Manage partner integrations. - Own our integrations with platforms like Shopify and Salesforce, keeping them compatible, scalable, and aligned with where our fraud and identity solutions are headed. - Identify and prioritize other platforms and marketplaces where our customers transact, and build the case for where we should show up next. - Own our data validation service providers. - Manage the portfolio of vendors that supply identity verification, email and phone intelligence, address validation, and device signals to our decisioning. - Evaluate new providers, monitor performance, coverage, and cost, hold vendors to their SLAs, and decide when to add or replace one. - Partner across the business. - Work with engineering, client services, sales, and partnerships to support enterprise client integrations, and serve as the go-to voice for Accertify's API capabilities internally and externally. - Decide with data. - Track API usage, adoption, integration timelines, vendor SLAs, and developer satisfaction, and use them to drive product decisions. Qualifications - 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fraud, identity, payments, or SaaS platforms. - Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and what makes a developer ecosystem work. - Experience managing third-party vendors and partner relationships, and know how to identify the partnerships that compound in value. - Experience managing data providers. You know that coverage, match rates, latency, and cost per lookup all matter, and you know how to hold a vendor accountable to an SLA. - Communication with equal fluency to a staff engineer and a CFO, and you raise hard conversations early. - Experience translating customer and partner needs into scalable, reusable solutions. - Familiarity with Shopify, Salesforce, or Ping Identity. - Experience with identity verification or data enrichment providers (email/phone intelligence, device fingerprinting, address validation). - Background in developer experience or API-first product strategy. Requirements - Potential Salary Range: $150,000 to $180,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. - This role is eligible for remote US-based (work-from-home) locations. Chicago-based candidates would work in a hybrid capacity from Accertify's HQ in Itasca, IL. - Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position. Benefits - Employees are eligible for Accertify’s comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. - Paid time off and wellness programs. - Participation in retirement programs, including a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.

Full TimeRemoteTeam 1,001-5,000

Role Description We're looking for someone to own a portfolio of automation and AI projects end-to-end: understand the business problem, design the solution, and deliver it, either by building it yourself or by leading a builder through it. You'll join the Agentic & Automation Factory, Believe's internal team building automation and AI solutions across Believe and TuneCore. You'll report directly to the Director of the Agentic & Automation Factory. You'll manage a portfolio of business projects across AI, agentic, and automation, and be accountable for the impact of what you ship. - Adept at leading strategic initiatives and steering the builders and stakeholders creating the tools—providing direction, reviewing work, and unblocking them through collaborative project leadership rather than direct hierarchical management. What you'll actually do - Understand the problem: - You'll usually have more than one project going at once, some small, some bigger, across both Believe and TuneCore. - Go on the ground with business teams (Finance, Ops, Content, Artist Support...) to see how work really happens, not how it's assumed to happen. - Identify what's genuinely worth automating, and what isn't. - Build a prioritized backlog with executives; you should be able to defend why we're doing this and not something else. - Frame the solution: - Turn a vague problem into a clear solution: how it works technically, but also how business rules and exceptions get handled over time. - Decide on the right level of complexity: don't over-engineer something simple, don't hack together something that needs to last. - Bring in AI and agentic approaches when they solve a real problem. - Deliver: - Build it yourself (mainly in n8n) or lead a builder to deliver it. - Be able to say what your work actually delivered (time saved, cost avoided) and present it to stakeholders. Qualifications - 6-7 years of experience, ideally in strategy/transformation consulting, or a senior PM background with a strong process mindset. - You can run a discovery conversation with a VP and debug a workflow in the same day. - You understand automation and AI-agent concepts; you're comfortable with a low-code tool (n8n ideally) or you pick tools up fast—the tool matters less than the reasoning behind it. - Given a messy problem, you can quickly turn it into a clear, prioritized plan. - You excel at driving initiatives forward and managing stakeholder dynamics, ensuring successful delivery through influence and collaboration rather than formal authority. Benefits - Tailor-made training and coaching program. - Remote working policy. - A wellness program "Pauses" with many activities and animations in-house. - Access to Eutelmed, a digital mental health and well-being platform that allows you to speak with an experienced psychologist. - A healthy and eco-responsible company restaurant. - Individual or family health insurance. - CSE benefits. - A rooftop. - A gym with free classes. - Ambassador program: an employee volunteering initiative dedicated to all Believers interested in having a positive impact on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), wellbeing and the planet. - Implementation of the sustainable mobility package “Forfait mobilité durable” => Reimbursement of up to 600€ for public transport/low carbon footprint. - 5 calendar days 2nd parent leave with 100% pay (in addition to the legal paternity or adoption leave).
