• Manage and deliver utility infrastructure projects, including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals. • Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. • Monitor project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, and risk. • Ensure QA/QC compliance for all project deliverables and documentation. • Track labor utilization, revenue forecasting, billing, and documentation. • Serve as the firm’s representative at client meetings, public hearings, and presentations. • More senior PMs will also conduct site visits and construction observations as needed. • Lead multiple utility infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. • Mentor engineers and project managers, providing technical guidance and career development support.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Proven track record managing drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
  • Project Manager: 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Senior Project Manager: 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Knowledge of utility design standards, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.

Role Description Bowman has an opportunity for a Remote Sensing Project Manager to join our team based in Austin, TX (position is remote). Oversee and manage LiDAR and UAS projects from initiation to completion. Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and build and maintain client relations. Responsibilities - Leadership and Direction - Receive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. - Manage people and processes to ensure effective execution. - Review work produced by staff for quality assurance. - At the Operational and Company Level - Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships. - Serve as primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop proposals, and build and maintain client relationships. - Do the Work - Oversee and manage LiDAR and UAS projects from initiation to completion. - Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments. - Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are achieved. - Ensure quality control standards are met and adhere to industry best practices. - Train and mentor team members on LiDAR and UAS best practices and technologies. - Stay up to date with UAS regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and strategies. - Participate in industry conferences or events as a guest speaker or panelist to share insights and expertise. - Create and maintain a social media presence to showcase the company's LiDAR and UAS projects and engage with potential clients and collaborators. - Lead internal company initiatives focused on sustainability or social responsibility. - Explore new and innovative applications for LiDAR and UAS technologies.
