HR Shared Services Specialist

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated

• Play an important role in the regional HR Shared Services function, with responsibility for managing data transactions and processes, with efficiency and accuracy • Manage a variety of HR processes in accordance and compliance with country policies and local regulations for the EMEA region (UK, Ireland, South Africa, UAE, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland) • Develop, follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures • Prepare and handle HR documentation, including the preparation of employment contracts, addendums, employment verifications and certifications • Conduct regular audits and controls to ensure the highest data quality and integrity of data in our HR systems (Workday and other) • Manage and coordinate employee inquiries within reasonable timeframes and/or agreed SLAs • Work together with HRBPs and COEs to resolve complex queries and propose solutions • Guide employees and managers in using Workday and other HR systems facilitating technology adoption • Optimize and enhance our standard operating processes, as well as within our Workday HRIS – blending project management skills, HR domain knowledge, and expertise in the Workday system to support on this responsibility • Coordinate successful completion of project deliverables, identify risks and problems, build mitigation plans and solutions, and support the implementation of changes and solutions for corporate change initiatives impacting different functions and processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management or in related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources function, preferably delivering services in shared service center environment towards an international client group
  • Experience with Workday HR information system
  • Good knowledge of employment law, and broader HR function practices
  • Experience with and solid proficiency in HR processes throughout the employee life cycle and related standard operating procedures (e.g. onboarding, job changes, leave of absences, offboarding)
  • Experience leading or contributing to HR projects / programmes, with strong proficiency to support change management
  • Experience with continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to identify needs, investigate options, seek solutions and partner to resolve issues
  • Ability to work fast whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong technology skills (Workday HCM, Co-Pilot, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Docusign etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with partners and stakeholders, in a remote and multi-country setting.
  • Pro-active in suggesting process and system improvements, and subsequently driving forwards change
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills ability.
  • Organisational skills: able to manage and fulfil multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
