As Corporate Development Manager, you will be an essential part of our dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) team. Your main goal will be to perform cold outreach via calls and emails to connect with owners of other health & benefits brokers to educate them on the potential of partnering with OPOC via acquisition, qualify opportunities, set quality meetings with OPOC’s VP of Corporate Development & CEO, and track activity in a CRM system. Perform research to identify potential acquisition targets Perform cold outreach to connect with small-to-midsize brokers of group health insurance & employee benefits Educate potential targets on our differentiators Schedule meetings between qualified targets and OPOC’s VP of Corporate Development & CEO Keep records of activities in our CRM Performance Goal: Schedule 3 meetings per week
Job Requirements
- Strong phone skills – ability to build rapport and handle objections
- Proven telemarketing experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Salesforce experience required
- Experience in B2B or B2C telemarketing is a plus
- Experience in M&A is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
- Project Management skills, a plus
- Ability to thrive in a positive and high-energy environment
- Previous success in performance-based sales or customer service a plus
- Comfortable interacting with C-suite decision makers and business owners
- The ability to learn databases, CRM or other software to track prospect progress
- Ability to convey the benefits of OPOC’s products and services confidently and clearly
- Proven experience and comfort with speaking roles in zoom meetings and phone calls
- Self-motivated and responsible
