Description We have an opening for a part-time/casual career & integration coach based in the Bay Area/San Francisco area, US (remote) to support our relocation and/or outplacement solutions. With relocation, we support employees and their spouses/families as they acclimate to new cities, integrate into new countries, and assist spouses/partners with finding employment. With outplacement, we work with employees receiving our outplacement services in finding new career opportunities. The Coach works in a 1:1 capacity with employees and their spouse/partners of our client companies who are relocating to the region or are searching for work as part of an outplacement in the area. The Coach uses IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports the spouse or partner of the relocating employee with job search support. This position is part-time/casual employment, working remotely from home. Although hours are not guaranteed, workload hours will start approximately 5 hours per week after paid training period and will gradually increase to around 20 hours over the course of a few months. Hourly rate in CA is $45 hour or more, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include potential 401k eligibility based on hours worked and part-time paid sick leave per state law. Location is US-based only, in the Bay Area/San Francisco, CA region. - Establishes rapport with program participants and motivates them to achieve professional and personal goals. - Guides program participants through the coaching process and milestone completion. - Advises and coaches career development, integration & transition issues and career options. - Coaches on r&eacute;sum&eacute; writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing and negotiating. - Maintain internal online service delivery record for each participant serviced, according to organizational guidelines. - Monitors progress of program participants, consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge and deals with personal issues that are affecting their careers and/or integration into the area. Requirements Minimum five years of experience in delivery of job search strategy/career coaching to individuals in various industries and levels. Experience coaching individuals, including expats/accompanying spouses, in job search and integration. Experience with resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles and other social media platforms, plus other aspects of job search coaching. - Currently resides in the Bay Area and has knowledge of living and job searching there. - Must be fluent in English and Spanish. - Very strong verbal / written communication skills. in English and Spanish. We are also considering applications of coaches who are fluent in either or both Portuguese and Spanish , fluency in all three is of these languages is an added advantage. - Experience with virtual coaching. - Navigating through VISA challenges and working with career continuation scenarios a plus. - Savvy with technology and AI knowledge. High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; headset with a microphone will be required (remote/work from home). - Advise and coach participants in their career development, transition issues, cultural issues or challenges, and career options. - Coach on CV/r&eacute;sum&eacute; writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing and negotiating. - Experience working with expatriates on job searches, cultural differences, and integrating into the US. - Able to analyze and appropriately address transitional needs. - Ability to engage and foster positive relationships with participants/clients. - Understanding of business and cultural practices within the US. - Currently lives and/or works in the Bay Area highly preferred. - Ability to work up to 20 hours/week as caseloads increase. Ideal Candidate: - Expat or a repat. - Cross-cultural competence is a must. - Demonstrated expertise in facilitation, business coaching, career coaching, and integration coaching. - Master&rsquo;s degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, business or related field preferred. - Coaching certificate or training. - Familiarity with remote work and tools including Zoom, MS Teams, WhatsApp, etc. . - Has personally relocated to a different country.
