Title: Part-Time Front of House Event Staff Location: Penn State University Park, PA United States Job Description: JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Eisenhower Auditorium is seeking Part-Time Front of House Event Staff. This position is casual, part-time employment and requires mostly evening and weekend availability, with some mornings if employees are available. Scheduling for work is dependent on employee availability and event needs. Opportunity to participate monthly in the Center for Performing Arts Student Advisory Council which builds arts networks across the university and recommends artists for student curated events.\u202f Advancement to leadership positions and raises available. Job Duties: - Welcoming and directing patrons. - Lobby and conference room set-up. - Scanning tickets. - Staffing concessions locations. - Assisting volunteer ushers. - Creating a safe, secure, and comfortable space for the public. Requirements and qualifications: - Successful candidates must have or wish to develop excellent communication and customer services skills. - Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. - Must be available to work weekends.
