Developer Information Systems Application / Software Development $ 60 - $ 67 / Hour Mason, Kentucky Remote Contractor Your Role Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Mason, KY (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for responsible for designing, implementing, and customizing OpenText Media Management solutions, ensuring seamless integrations and efficient content workflows. Rate Range: $60/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer Job Responsibilities include: - Design, develop, and customize OTMM workflows and applications to meet business requirements. - Implement and manage OTMM deployments in on-premises environments, ensuring system performance and reliability. - Develop and integrate OTMM with third-party systems using Java, JavaScript, and integration services. - Manage and optimize databases (MS SQL) to support content management and workflows. - Collaborate with stakeholders and IT leadership to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of OTMM platforms. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in OTMM/OpenText development with overall 10+ years of IT experience. - Strong expertise in OTMM (version 25+), workflow customization, and integration with third-party applications along with hands-on Java, JavaScript, and MS SQL skills. - Proven experience deploying OTMM in on-prem environments and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient content management solutions.
