Role Description Array Behavioral Care is hiring an evening specialist, 100% virtual Psychiatrist to provide measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states. You will immerse yourself in the buzz of emergency departments, hospital medical floors or crisis stabilization units from the comfort of your own home. Array Emergency Psychiatrists collaborate with onsite professionals to determine a timely disposition and use evidence-based practices to provide care to vulnerable individuals experiencing mental health crises. What You’ll Do - Simultaneously serving multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care. - Receiving support throughout your shift by our 24/7 access center who triages cases and makes sure you have what you need to successfully treat each patient. - Directing and/or implementing psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribing medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. - Utilizing a collaborative care approach within your partner’s healthcare treatment team. Compensation and Benefits - The pay range for this role is $150 - $195 an hour. - This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data.
