Senior Associate, Subcontracts

• Develop and execute subcontract strategies to align with program and organizational objectives • Lead negotiations to establish subcontract agreements with favorable terms and conditions • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance using defined metrics • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, finance, and program management • Identify potential risks associated with subcontracting activities and develop mitigation strategies • 25% Travel to supplier site locations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related subcontracts experience
- Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes
- Experience interpreting program management, engineering and supplier demands in a continuously changing environment with minimal guidance
- Working capability in the use of typical office computer programs for conduct of program management such as MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Experience in supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance.
