Role Description Leverage datasets from across the company and utilize analytics skills (including SQL, Excel, and Tableau) to produce critical dashboards, one-off reports, and presentations. Responsible for translating data capturing customer behavior into agile, insightful analytics that are communicated clearly and effectively, and lead to optimal marketing actions and long-term strategies. - Partner with stakeholders as a strategic collaborator by owning business intelligence analyses end-to-end. - Provide stakeholders with timely, relevant insights, scenarios, and recommendations. - Democratize results via internal intelligence platforms for long-term use. - Produce tangible, actionable insights and work with senior marketing leaders to guide the marketing roadmap and business strategy. - Build dashboards and scorecards that enable leaders to understand and act upon data to create and iterate on various marketing tactics. - Manage a portfolio of highly consumable competitive intelligence assets (e.g., dashboards, papers, presentations, datasets). - Analyze A/B tests across Amazon and Audible surfaces, provide recommendations based on testing results. - Support reporting on the incremental impact of marketing tactics including major marquee promotions, launches, and ongoing campaigns. - Develop Amazon-scale data pipelines using AWS. - Contribute to the growth of the Audible Insights Org by sharing and developing ideas and learning from others. Position reports into Newark, NJ office; however, telecommuting from a home office is allowed. Qualifications - Requires a Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a directly related field. - One (1) year of experience as an Analytics Manager, Business Intelligence Engineer, or a related occupation involving experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, or technical project management. - Experience may be gained concurrently and must include one (1) year of experience in the following: - Utilizing SQL to extract and merge data from varied sources, produce analyses, and manipulate databases. - Tableau or similar visualization software. - Technical project management in the areas of analytics, data science, or data engineering. - Advanced Excel. - Programming in Python or R to model data using advanced statistical methods. - Setup and analysis of large-scale A/B tests (user-based or geo-based). - AWS tools including Amazon SageMaker. Requirements - Requires a Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus one (1) year of experience as an Analytics Manager, Business Intelligence Engineer, or a related occupation involving experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, or technical project management.
