Role Description Netrix Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in endpoint management, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for JAMF Pro, Intune, and modern device management. This role is focused on designing, implementing, and operating Windows and macOS lifecycle management at scale, while ensuring compliance, security posture, and seamless integration with Microsoft Intune. The engineer will serve as a customer-facing technical lead, partnering closely with Sr Engineers and Delivery Leads to drive outcomes across device compliance, lifecycle operations, and endpoint security. - Ownership of Windows, macOS and cross-platform device strategy. - Strong emphasis on proactive remediation, policy enforcement, and reporting alignment across Jamf and Intune environments. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience. - 6–10 years of hands-on experience in endpoint management, MDM administration (JAMF PRO and/or Intune), and enterprise IT infrastructure. Requirements - Act as SME for JAMF Pro administration and Intune, including environment design, configuration, and operational governance. - Action requests and incidents and proactive tasks/maintenance tied to JAMF PRO and Intune MDM platforms for customers within the Systems Infrastructure Team. - Design and maintain scalable configurations for enterprise Windows and macOS fleets. - Support Microsoft Intune environments for Windows and macOS device management, including: - Device enrollment and provisioning - Policy and compliance configuration - Windows and macOS Lifecycle Management & Compliance - Define and enforce compliance baselines using JAMF policies and configuration profiles and Intune Policies. - Implement continuous compliance monitoring with automated enforcement and remediation workflows. - Drive cleanup and optimization activities, including stale device removal, inventory normalization, and lifecycle decommissioning. - Maintain device hygiene standards aligned to security benchmarks (CIS, organizational policies). - Own macOS and windows patching lifecycle including: - OS updates (minor and major releases) - Third-party application patching via JAMF and supported catalog integrations (macOS) and Patch-My-PC or N-able (Windows) - Patch compliance monitoring and reporting. - Build and maintain policies for patch enforcement, user deferrals, and phased deployment strategies. - Troubleshoot patch failures, policy conflicts, and configuration drift across device fleets. - Troubleshoot deployment failures, compliance enforcement issues, and reporting discrepancies. - Design and maintain JAMF–Intune integration for compliance state reporting and conditional access alignment. - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of device compliance posture from JAMF into Intune. - Troubleshoot integration issues impacting compliance, device registration, or policy enforcement. Project Delivery - Team up with internal and external resources to understand the project timeline and operations. - Work in Agile Team to meet changing needs and requirements. - Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all cross-functional areas within Business Services. - Understand client business needs, Health Cloud platform capabilities, and requirements. - Troubleshoot complex problems, gap analysis and process improvement. - Responsible for compliance with applicable Texas Health policies and procedures. - Work with department, divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution on issues and risks. - Participate in strategic planning meetings with key stakeholders and manage expectations.
