Role Description Own B2B Content Strategy for a Global Enterprise Brand: - Lead the end-to-end content strategy for Amazon Web Services. - Develop scalable, insight-driven programs across white papers, thought leadership, solution briefs, case studies, and editorial content. - Translate business priorities into content strategies that strengthen brand authority and support measurable business outcomes. Build Editorial Frameworks and Content Infrastructure: - Develop messaging frameworks, content architecture, and editorial processes. - Create consistency across AWS's solution areas, audience segments, and content programs. - Establish scalable systems that enable high-quality content production over time. Lead Content Planning and Client Strategy: - Partner directly with AWS stakeholders to facilitate strategic planning sessions. - Align on business objectives and shape editorial priorities. - Serve as the senior content strategist in client-facing conversations. - Present recommendations, navigate feedback, and build trusted partnerships. Manage and Develop Content Talent: - Lead and mentor a team of dedicated B2B copywriters. - Provide clear direction, thoughtful feedback, and ongoing coaching. - Review work to ensure all content meets high standards for quality, accuracy, and strategic alignment. Measure Performance and Optimize Strategy: - Define success metrics and performance frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of content programs. - Analyze results, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously evolve strategy based on data and business needs. Identify Opportunities for Growth and Innovation: - Proactively assess AWS's content ecosystem to uncover gaps. - Recommend new initiatives and strengthen the overall content program. - Bring forward fresh ideas that improve content performance, audience engagement, and strategic impact. Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: - Maintain deep knowledge of enterprise technology, including cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, developer tools, and emerging industry trends. - Apply market insights to ensure content remains relevant, differentiated, and valuable to target audiences. Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in B2B content strategy. - Proven track record of leading content programs for enterprise or technology brands. - Experience building and scaling strategic content programs. - Strong leadership experience, including managing or mentoring writers. - Deep understanding of B2B audiences, particularly technical and executive buyers. - Exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills. - Strong executive presence and client management skills. - Experience measuring and optimizing B2B content performance. - A collaborative, proactive mindset.
